Fresh off a one year hiatus from music, alternative artiste Kid Marley and frequent collaborator/producer 3RTY come together on a song titled Sunday Morning, after their synergy on songs like Monkey Business (off 3rty’s Magic EP) and The Search (off Kid Marley’s Denim EP, which 3rty also helped Executive Produce).
The two artists decided to take advantage of the synergy to create a song called Sunday Morning, the first single off their highly anticipated joint LP titled The Grey Area.
Sunday Morning produced by London based producer Tom Misch. It shows the respective growth of both artistes musically and also makes obvious their synergy. The songs which means different things to both of them.
To 3rty, is an ode to a childhood friend on a Sunday Morning while to Kid Marley it shows the hypocrisy associated with Sunday Mornings, fake apologies and the illusions of new beginnings.
