Reynolds Addo-Labi, known widely by his showbiz name 4ties (pronounced as ‘Forties’), is a Ghanaian-born conscious Hip-hop artiste whose lyrical dexterity has been praised within the industry and hails from the Eastern region of Ghana.

Beginning his musical journey in 2006 through rap battles, 4ties rose through the ranks while mastering the composure needed to be unique and beastly behind the mic, simultaneously developing his art of deep lyrical warfare and wordplay.

Drawing his inspiration from the expression of his candid thoughts through music, 4ties looks up to rap greats such as Nas and Rakim. He has spoken of his aspiration to become Africa’s biggest Hip-hop brand, a reputation that would enable him realize his ultimate dream of bearing the African torch in the competitive terrain of international Hip-hop.

4ties is a pure lyrical genius preaching the consciousness of God in his music to elevate his listeners unto a higher level of knowledge, wisdom and understanding to become enlightened by awakening ones knowledge of self. His first official song in 2013, ‘Hip-hop resurrect’, a song that called for the revival of Hip-hop music in Ghana took the Eastern region and Greater Accra by storm provoking many rave reviews across Koforidua and beyond.

Passionate and widly ambitious, 4ties believes his growing talent can enable him spread truth to the mentally dead and become an agent of social change and development activist.
