villyIt’s finally here! “Follo Follo” – the hottest Afrobeat dance song since Femi Kuti’s “Beng Beng Beng”. A single from a new school musician; Nigeria’s fast rising Afro-Fusion musician “VILLY, and produced by one of Nigeria’s best producers SMYL. For all those who feel they have released or heard Afrobeat, you are sure to go back to the drawing board when you hear VILLY, and this single.  “Follo Follo” has brought back the true spirit of Afrobeat to the present generation without changing the true value of it. Check it out VILLY and his band The Xtreme Volumes have graced the stage of various musical concert in Nigeria – FELABRATION 2011/2012, Guest Artiste at the World Music Day concert put together by Alliance Franҫaise, Goethe Institute and British Council, embarked on a two-week promotional tour in Ghana (Nov, 2012), and collaborated on stage with the popular German band ‘Hyperactive Kid’. The debut EP is a broad spectrum of AFRO-FUSION – Afrobeat, Afro-soul, Afro-rock, Afrobeat-Pop, Highlife-RnB, Afrobeat-RnB, and the more you listen the more you become aware of the reasons why it been praised by Producers,  A&R and other industry heads as a breath of fresh air, filled with catchy vocal melodies and hard hitting beats, strong message and an incredible story telling. Villy is as equally amazing in live performances with his band, as he is recorded. The Xtreme Volumes Band is made up of Sheayeazy (Drums), Timothy (Lead saxophone), Jacode (Bassist),  as well as  a guitarist, pianists, backup singers, all led by VILLY with his guitar. Also, expect the debut album ‘Let’s Play’ from VILLY this quarter. VILLY comments: “I am driven by my passion to show Africa to the World and my only weapon is my music and its contents.
