Vox Veezy (Michael Lamptey) is the name of the second child of Mr and Mrs. Lamptey. He was born on April 30th and nurtured in LA, a suburb of Greater Accra Region in Ghana with his three siblings where he lives presently. Edification has been part of Michael from the dawn of life as he first attended south LA estate school from the scratch , progressed to primary school with high academic scores but later moved to Gondar Basic School at Burma Camp where he completed his Junior High School education.

He was commended always by his tutors for his outstanding academic performances and discipline. With a superlative score at the Basic Examination Certificate Examination, he gained admission to continue his Senior High School Education at Christian Heritage High School in Kukurantumi, Koforidua .

Michael’s customary exhibition of Hard work and dedication never came to a point of cessation as he was one of the best and well-behaved students among his aristocrats. His ambitions could never be shattered as hence progressively pursued a degree in graphic and web designing at IPMC and graduated successfully.

Music has been part and parcel of him as he remembers stories his mother told him of how he would jump and dance at the center of the congregation during church service at a tender age of five(5) which made him well noted by church. He decided to make HipHop rap as his hobby in the process of growing but later ascertained his singing capabilities which drew him closer to the Afro Dancehall world, and now a dancehall artiste and performer.

His dream of becoming one of the great musician ended him in learning a lot about music production as he worked with lots of producers. With experience he learnt from several producers , he was able to study to perfect his production skills alone . He worked as a producer and musician in a couple of studios before setting up his own studio after being signed to TipTic Entertainment by management in 2010 and changed his name to Vox Veezy.

Michael has a tally of 20 sweet melodies produced by himself. Michael’s popular inspiration which says:’”God has inhabited a treasure in every human being which is our talent or capabilities that makes us different from one another,the most successful man is the one who is able to discover this hidden treasure to work something good out of it” always keeps him going as he believes he has successfully discovered his hidden treasure that is his Music.
