NKULEE1Legendary South African reggae star, Lucky Dube’s daughter, Nkulee Dube is set to storm Ghana for a concert that would not only introduce her music to Ghanaians but also raise funds to support children suffering from hole-in-heart condition.

The November 25 charity concert will see the Nkulee, who has taken up her father’s band since his shocking passing away, appearing as the special guest artiste. According to her, coming to Ghana is like coming to continue what her father left uncompleted as Lucky Dube had made pronouncement to the effect that he loved Ghana; and he was even billed to perform in Ghana the very year he died.

Only a few female artists have managed to fuse ethno-soul and jazz with reggae/ragga with as much success as the 24-year old singer/songwriter, Nkulee Dube. She is no stranger to the music industry; she has been a backing singer and dancer for the late Lebo Mathosa and later Ntando Bangani.  As a guest artiste and backing vocalist, Nkulee has been part of her late father’s performing band ‘One People’. She has performed at major festivals in Australia, Holland, Papua New Guinea, French Guyana, Suriname, to mention but a few.[ad#ad program long]

Nkulee has already appeared in a compilation album released by Sillywalks Entertainment in Germany, where her song ‘Give It To Me’ is amongst the biggest reggae/ ragga songs of all times.httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBUOF4CKBbI
