When it comes to making good use of her contours, and making fashion sense with her plus-size body, Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson does it so well. Thus it wasn’t surprising that she received good reviews the ‘Star Style’ panel on Fashion 101 last weekend. Also receiving the thumbs-up was Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu, fashion designer, video vixen, TV presenter and younger sister of the free-spirited Ghanaian singer/rapper, Wanlov. Debbie is often on point when it comes to choosing the right outfit for a perfect outing. “Once a hip-hoper, always a hip-hoper” was the conclusion of the panel members when Hip hop artist Demond Blackmore, otherwise known as D Black, made an appearance on the show this weekend. Actress turned singer, Diamond also known as Ghana’s Lady Gaga couldn’t impress the panel with her flamboyant style of dressing, as a sequence dress which she wore to an awards nomination party, barely made the cut, save for a tiny detail. Other celebrities who made appearances on last weekend’s episode included Denise of Vodafone Icons fame, Efya, who for the second time failed to impress the panel members, Jocelyn Dumas, D-Money and Captain Planet of the hiplife trio 4×4.]]>
