M.I and Naeto C to headline Hennessy Artistry 2012

Rappers Naeto C and MI at a photo shoot for Hennessy Artistry 2012This week Hennessy Cognac, organizers of Nigeria’s foremost innovative musical platform – Hennessy Artistry – announced that hip-hop heavyweights M.I and Naeto C will headline the sixth edition of the yearly music project. This year’s edition has taken a route that no one envisaged it would. The first of its kind collaboration between the two big names in Nigerian hip-hop will bring a much-anticipated hit to our door steps, radios and nightlife, delivering to Hennessy fans and music lovers, the excitement of a long overdue musical collaboration; as well as an epic and unforgettable cognac experience. Similar to last year’s edition, Hennessy Artistry 2012 will kick off with the release of the headliners’ collaboration track, after which a 22-stop Club Tour with rising artistes will follow. Hennessy Cognac is asking fans to nominate now the artistes they would like to see perform at this year’s Club Tour, by going to www.facebook.com/hennessynigeria. The 2012 Hennessy Artistry project will culminate in VIP events headlined by M.I and Naeto C. In addition to what promises to be a superb Artistry year, lucky fans and consumers will be treated to a VIP session with the stars courtesy of Hennessy. Details of this competition will follow shortly. Since Hennessy Artistry was first unveiled in Nigeria in 2007, Hennessy Cognac has maintained its position as Nigeria’s and the world’s leading cognac brand.Hennessy Artistry in the meantime has evolved from a cocktail-mixing contest between renowned bartenders to a DJ battle, and now is an important platform for experimental collaborations among multi-talented artistes.
