Marriage and motherhood won’t slow me down – Becca

Becca Ft. Kizz Daniel – Gina

Ghanaian singer Becca has revealed that the demands of being married and taking care of her baby would not slow her down in her passion for making music. Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, the mother of one said:  “Most successful singers after marriage and childbirth relax but not me. I don’t intend to quit music soon for any reason, music is a passion and business. So why would I want to end my passion and business because of marriage.

“Marriage should not end your careers but give you an even deeper reason to strive harder and accomplish the most difficult. I am more determined and motivated than any other time in my life,”

Becca’s statement rings true as the singer has been busy since she gave birth to her baby girl earlier this year with her Nigerian husband, Dr Tobi Sanni Daniel.

She released a single, Driving License featuring Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, in July and today released another song titled, Yes I Do featuring Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage.

Becca told Graphic Showbiz that she was able to effectively combine marriage, her baby and music because she managed her time well.

“I am married to my best friend and he understands and supports my passion and business. And I am also blessed to be surrounded by great domestic staff,” she explained.

She admitted that although it was not easy to do all that, determination and proper planning was important. “When you know what you want to do at a particular time, you are able to put your things in order and you have no issues.”

Becca disclosed that she was planning to release her next album before the second quarter of next year but in the meantime, she would make her fans happy by releasing a number of singles until then.
