Mary J. Blige sued over $2.2 Million loan

Mary J Blige a.k.a. “The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul,” was hit with a lawsuit yesterday (November 28), claiming that she and her husband defaulted on a $2.2 million loan from Signature Bank. According to Reuters, documents were filed in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan, seeking to recoup the $2.2 million loan that Mary J Blige took out in October 2011. According to the lawsuit, Mary J. Blige and her husband Kendu Isaacs defaulted on the loan in July 2012, resulting in over $58,000 in interest. Earlier this year, Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute’s Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now Inc., allegedly defaulted on a $250,000 dollar loan as well.]]>
