Dr Kwabena Duffour gives money to national maths and science quiz winners1Business tycoon and a former student of Prempeh College, Dr Kwabena Duffour has presented winners of the 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) with money after having dinner with them. Dr Duffour, who is a former Finance Minister and Governor for Bank of Ghana, as well as Founder and Chairman of HODA Holdings, a business entity comprising Insurance, Banking, Real Estates, Farming, Mining and Media was happy with the achievement of his alma mater, Prempeh College, winners in this year’s  NSMQ, competition after beating both St. Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College. The three students who represented Prempeh, together with the school’s headmaster and other officials, were subsequently invited to lunch by Dr Duffour at the Tang Palace Hotel, where the business man donated an amount of GHc 25,000 to the headmaster of the school on behalf of the students. The contestants were further presented with an amount of GHc 5,000 by the 2001 year group of Prempeh College students.
