McPhilix LTD Launches Inaugural Borode Festival as Part of Its 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Chief Executive Office (CEO) of Mcphilix Ltd, Felix Afutu in a heartfelt speech at the launch, reflected on the company’s journey from a humble table-top operation to its current standing as a growing food company. He emphasized the importance of the Borode Festival in showcasing the vibrant Ghanaian and African heritage.

“This festival is a testament to our commitment to bringing people together and promoting Ghanaian and African heritage,” he said

The two-day festival promises a lively array of activities, including plantain-based cuisine, music, dance, and art, catering to food lovers and culture enthusiasts alike. The CEO further encouraged participation from all, noting that the event offers a unique experience for everyone.

He also added that the company has  opened it doors for sponsorship and partnership opportunities, inviting organizations and individuals to contribute to the festival’s success.

General Manager of the company, Akosua Naana Lexis Obenewaa Opoku-Agyemang also emphasized on the need for this festival, asserting that it is here to stay for a longer period. She also added that the festival will attract ‘International Eyeballs’ to the Wonderful things the country possesses.
