Following her massive fall at the 10th edition of Celestial Praiz on 6th March 2023, renowned Ghanaian gospel artist, Selina Boateng, has clarified that her fall was the doing of the holy spirit.

According to the singer who doubles as a song writer, her over excitement whilst dancing at the event on that fateful Monday was to show appreciation to God.

However, Selina, who was engrossed in colleague musician, Piesie Esther‘s performance on the day noted that, it was unfortunate she ended up falling while showing her appreciation and gratitude to her maker.

‘I think it was the doing of the holy spirit, that is what I will say,’ she stated.

The ‘Alpha and Omega’ hitmaker in an interview on hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz asserted that, her fall was no news as a similar situation happened to King David in the bible.

According to her, King David danced to the extent that his cloths fell off and everyone around him surprised and shocked.

‘David was so happy that he went naked for God and the people were murmuring, asking him why henaked, but David told them; if God did it for me, why won’t I show him my appreciation. So, I was just showing appreciation for all that God has done for me,’ the gospel diva emphasized.
