‘Medikal is one of the people who inspired me to become who I am today’ – Teflon Flexx

On the latest episode of Konkonsammre on AmeyawTV, Ghanaian singer Teflon Flexx shares story behind his music journey, personal life and more.

Speaking to the show host Efya Lorty, the 2020 VGMA Unsung Artiste of The Year winner, opened up about how his music career officially kicked off in 2018 during his time at the university.

“So when I was in school I released a song titled salted that was my third year in the university that was 2018. so I released salted just to test the waters on campus then I decided to come up with an EP to put myself out there as an artist which was titled the Village Boy in Suit. so I release that EP in 2019”. he said.

On collaborating with other Ghanaian artists Teflon said it’s easy to get a verse from artists when they have a close personal relationship.

“So when you have a relationship with the artiste it’s very easy to get a verse from the artiste but if you are going to pass through management they’ll take you through business and that’s what is difficult”

How he got Medikal to feature on his hit song ‘Maami Yaa’ Teflon revealed he has always wanted to get Medikal on a feature “because he is one of the people that inspired me to be who I am today”

Teflon Flexx is currently promoting his new song ‘Yaba’
