Medikal is the best rapper in Ghana- Kelvyn Boy
Burniton Music Group signee, Kelvyn Boy has stated that rapper Medikal is the best rapper in Ghana as per decided by the VGMA board.
Medikal beat fellow rappers, M.anifest, Tee-Phlow, Sarkodie and Obibini to win the best rapper at the 20th-anniversary edition of the Ghana Music Awards earlier in May this year.
His award has since sparked a lot of controversies with him beefing fellow rapper Strongman over the weekend.
However, according to the “Nana Ama” singer, anyone who says otherwise is doubting the VGMA board.
“As it stands, he is the best rapper unless you tell me that VGMA is bogus,” he said in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM Friday.
Commenting on the beef between Medikal and Strongman, which trended on social media last weekend, Kelvyn Boy explained he wasn’t going to take sides because he has a healthy relationship with both rappers.
Kelvynboy has featured Medikal on his ‘Toffee’ song as well as featured on ‘Strongman’s ‘Crazy For You’.
