Khemical reaches out for a kiss from singer, Becca

Daniel Selase, stage name Khemikal is arguably the biggest name in stand up comedy as at now.   He reiterates this claim everytime he gets the opportunity to do what he does best, entertain. There’s never a dull moment with him on the bill.

The accolade “Best comedy event host” was bequeathed on him by the King of Primetime, Kwaku Sintim-Misah “KSM” who officially endorsed him after he put up a mind blowing performance at DKB’s point of view and KSM’s Saga Of The Returnee Reloaded as MC. The vetran comedian added that Khemikal was one of the best MCs He had ever met.

That was late last year, but it’s not as if Khemikal has ever flattered to deceive. His hardwork and dedication to the craft is simply phenomenal. He’s nailed it on the biggest of stages including KSM @50, A Touch Of Class, DKB’s Point Of View, Decemba to Remember, A Night Of 1021 Laughs And Music and most recently, The Easter Comedy Show.

Speaking of the Easter Comedy Show, I believe ghanaians should have rather hailed Khemikal for his finnese as MC instead of reviewing the entire show based on the comment of one patron. Yes, the former first lady had every right to lay forth her views concerning DKB’s performance but it’s highly unfair for the media to build their story around that.

It’s quite sad the country we live in. It’s almost as if people have queued, ready to feed on any negative news.

But whether positive or negative reportage, Comedian Khemikal is not slowing down. He is shooting for the stars. It’s just that the support of the media makes it easier.
