Menaye Donkor makes 15 Most Influential Africans In Canada list!

Published

on

menaye-donkorAccording to Statistics Canada, the African population continues to grow significantly faster than the overall population. Between 1996 and 2001, the African population in Canada grew by approximately 32%, while the overall population by only 4%. In addition, it has been proven that a large percentage of Africans in Canada were born outside of the country.

Beginning a new life in a foreign country can be quite challenging, but many manage to find their way, even acquiring prestigious careers and reaching phenomenal heights in business and success.

Based on specific criteria, Afri-Culture created a list of some of the most influential Africans in Canada, with one goal in mind: to honor and celebrate individuals who continue to inspire others through great achievements. The list, which is in no particular order, is composed of five women and eight men. These distinct candidates have earned much success, as they continue to have great impact on very well-respected organizations throughout the country. Making the list is Menaye Donkor, a Ghanaian-Canadian former beauty queen, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She represented Ghana at the 2004 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant in Quito, Ecuador. She completed her studies in Marketing and Business Marketing at York University in Toronto, Ontario. She owns multiple businesses in Canada and is Founder of the Menaye Charity Organization. Menaye Donkor is the wife of Ghanaian football star, Sulley Muntari. She is also his business manager, product manager and financial manager.
