m1The 20 beautiful finalists for the 2010 Miss Ghana beauty contest thrilled a select audience with excitement, flair and elegance in a special fashion event at the Beach Gardens of the Labadi Beach Hotel over the weekend. The BO-16 and MWK’s night of fashion and style was a foretaste of the glitz and glam that would take place at the grand final on October 30 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

With a mix of technique, elegance, poise and subtle traces of afro-centrism, interlaced and interspersed with great musical performances by Nii (Joe), Fritz and GH’s hottest R&B crooner CHASE, there was never a dull moment. The ambience and aura of the green lushes of the Beach Gardens of the Labadi Beach Hotel set the tone for a night that was billed to be classy. One after the other, all twenty girls took to the beautifully crafted runway to strut off their vital statistics whiles parading some amazing hairstyles, jewelry and smashing clothing outfits courtesy the event’s impressive line-up of designers.

Given the fact that the day was used to officially outdoor the finalists to their sponsors and other stakeholders, it was just the perfect time for all twenty girls including Stephanie Karikari, Barira Musah, Esther Gadagbui, Ayisha Munkaila, Asi Addo-Yobo, Daisy Asare-Akoto, Linda Annansey, Ida Seidu, Michelle Ayonka, Pokua Agyemang-Badu, Phyllis Nuno, Felicia Tawiah, Frances Nyamikeh, Nadra Osman, Chantell Dapaah, Rita Dawugbo, Joyce Aziabah, Selma Baba, Bernice Bekoe and Yaa Bema Adu-Gyamfi to prove to the smartly-dressed and highly corporate audience that, their investments haven’t gone waste.

Last weekend’s event will herald a number of outdoor interactive events before the final.
