Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Moses Osei Kwarteng, popularly known as Moses OK, has disclosed the childhood lifestyle he was involved in because of bad association.

Speaking in an interview with TV XYZ, Moses OK revealed that when he was young, he would steal just about anything, and this was as a result of the negative friends he associated himself with.

‘‘Those times I was staying with my Grand mom and she had lots of children and grandchildren and she was not with us all the time, sometimes she goes to her village to farm, and myself I was not staying with my mom and some friends I had at that time, we were into stealing, I was a thief and anything we get, we steal. Those times when someone parks his taxi and the driver is taking somethings from the booth of the car, so I had a name, I go into the car and you see the drivers put their money under a carpet in their car so I quickly take out the money,’’ he stated.

The popular gospel singer added that although he used to really do bad things and even hear the devil talk to him, he could still speak  to people about God for them to repent.

‘‘It got to a time, when I do really bad things, I used to hear the devil lie to me and say, continue sinning, when you mature in the future, then you advice others as well.

‘‘When I was young, I used to talk to my friends about God for them to even repent and I was into church, I loved church even though I diverted so many times to fall into bad attitudes and stuff but I still knew I had a calling of God upon my life,’’ he said.
