Mr. and Mrs. Amoah win trip to Dubai at maiden ‘Married and Funky Dinner’

The maiden edition of Married and Funky Dinner, NMJ Ghana’s latest addition to its events took place on Friday 14thFebruary, 2020 which was also Valentine’s Day at the Holiday Inn Hotel.

The event, which brought more than thirty (30) couples together to have fun, network and reignite their love was hosted by the ever gorgeous TV/Radio personality Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku. Also in attendance was seasoned actress Nana Ama McBrown, who lighted up the place with her presence and lovely smiles.

The event began with a red carpet session at 8pm prompt, while the main session started with a welcome address by the COO of NMJ Ghana, Mrs. Wilhemina Andani Michaels, who gave a brief about the event and welcomed all attendees.

As promised, couples were treated to great and lovely music, creating a very romantic atmosphere for them to enjoy each other’s company.

There were a lot of fun games/activities for couples to participate in and win prizes, including “knowing me knowing you, Shoe game, Words in a word, fix your husband’s Tie” and Charade (Which was the final game of the night). Couples won prizes ranging from hampers, Spa treatments for two, Hair Do, boxes of Champagne and discounted tickets to Dubai.

The ultimate prize of the night, an all-expense paid trip to Dubai was won by Mr. and Mrs. Amoah, who won both the “words in a word” game and the Charade.

Renowned marriage counsellor, Rev. Thomas Vade-Annan, in a short speech, advised all couples present on pertinent things that make a good marriage.
