Mr Drew faces lawsuit over missed Easter event performance

JamRok Bar and Event Centre has filed a lawsuit against Ghanaian artiste Mr. Drew, alleging his failure to perform at their ‘Easter Dance Party’ event on April 1, 2024, despite being paid 50% of his fee.

According to the organizers, Mr. Drew “pulled out of the event when he was to mount the stage without any reason or explanation.” The legal action seeks the recovery of GH₵15,000.00 for the unpaid performance fee, along with GH₵36,511.00 in direct costs and GH₵200,000.00 in general damages for the harm caused to their brand.
