Ghanaian Style Coach and host of “Duvet” on GhONe television, Ms Nancy, has admitted to breaking one of her many fashion rules: showing way too much cleavage at a wedding.

Ms Nancy was one of the many guests who graced the wedding of blogger Eugene Osafo Nkansah and actress Victoria Lebene Mekpah at the Rehab Beach Resort at Labadi in Accra on Tuesday, June 11th.

According to her, even though her bright yellow dress and and red fascinator was perfect for a beach wedding, she showed too much cleavage because of her very low cut dress.

Taking to Instagram, Ms Nancy shared her professional opinion on the wedding and however ended with a little side not to herself about breaking a fashion code. She wrote:

“BEACH WEDDINGS AND HEADWEARS I am inspired to write about this because of last Tuesday, when we attended the beautiful beach wedding of @victorialebenee now Mrs Nkansah. I must admit that her wedding colours were sweet and setup on point congratulations @whitofmiracles .

DRESSING UP Beach wedding dresses are LIGHT, BRIGHT, BREEZY and should come in very dressy fabrics like LACE, CHIFFON for ladies and LINEN and KHAKI for men.

HEAD WEAR HATS and FASCINATORS are appropriate for Day/ Evening weddings respectively for ladies.

Short women should avoid large hats for smaller more structured creations. At sunset, mother of the bride should take off her hat/fascinator so other guests do same. Gentleman who wear hats should know when to take it off or tip it appropriately.

DRESS CODE If a bride wishes for her guests to observe a dress code, 6 weeks is mininum time to communicate. Unless specified guest are to avoid the wearing of wedding colours.

NOTE TO SELF. Even though i wore the appropriate style, colour and shoes for a beach wedding, my cleavage was a bit too revealing and for that matter inappropriate, just like all the 80% of guests who dressed like they were attending a church wedding. ????????????”

Well, as the style coach that she is, it’s great for her to realise that she broke a fashion code and criticise herself for it.

Ms Nancy has been in the styling business for four years. She has dressed celebrities, politicians among others.
