Music Video: Pappykojo feat. $pacely – Blessing

The visuals for ‘Blessing’, Pappykojo’s latest single off his upcoming album Logos II are to die for! 

Beautiful black models gleam off stunning colour blocked backdrops as Pappy frolicks around in the grass with his love interest. It’s a refreshing take on love and beauty, a welcome deviation from his last single Balance which was raw and edgy. The video ends with an interesting plot twist as well.

Altra Nova, the producer for Balance is emerging as one of Africa’s top producers for the new ‘Alte’ wave that is oscillating across the continent. He delivers quality sound and a funky rhythm once again for this song. $pacely from La Meme Gang sings the melodiously infectious hook on the song and provides the ad libs as he did for Balance.

You can’t help but think of beauty, as you sing-along to the chorus. Pappykojo insists he’s only just begun, something his hypnotized fans disagree with, seeing the rockstar sweep awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, 4SYTE awards and twice at AFRIMA – first as the Best Newcomer and then in 2018, as part of a group act, Best African Collaboration Award for Akwaaba.
