My biggest challenge in the music industry is not being controversial – Yaa Yaa

Published

on

Singer, Yaayaa has opened up about her biggest challenge as an artist in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Asaase Radio’s ‘Between Hours’ with Naa Ashorkor, the ‘Mmusuo’ singer revealed the huge challenge she faced in the music industry.

“Not conforming, its been a big challenge like not doing what’s trendy or not being controversial, i think this conversation has been happening since Saturday some people’s view on that is that you are not serious because you are not going in the same direction everybody is.” She stated.

However, Yaayaa noted that she’s not really bothered about riding on controversies to trend as she still “gets talked about in other things that matters to me especially if it has to do with my voice, my performances and that makes me more fulfilled than going to fight someone then get talked about”
