My music career won’t be complete until i win a Grammy for Ghana – Luminary DMR

Ghanaian musician Joseph Luminary Adzrago popularly known as Luminary DMR is hoping to win a Grammy award for Ghana before ‘he drops the mic’.

The rapper who recently released his ’16-track’ debut album made this known in an exclusive interview with Ameyaw Debrah.

”The biggest thing is to achieve Grammy. before the end of my career, like I hands off mic as I’ve started now I have to achieve Grammy” he said.

Luminary revealed he’s following the steps of 5 time Grammy-winning Benin singer, Angelique Kidjo who’s a ‘non-indigenous’ artist.

Luminary DMR’s Discovery album launched under Highly spiritual Music and Universal music group was released on Friday, 27th May 2022. the body of work is interlaced with all the trending genres of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and other indigenous sounds that encapsulate the Ghanaian cultural experience.

With production from Legendary Kaywa, Cash Two, Lionel Lawson, etc The 16-track album features only two artists, Legendary Tic and Hyso Jigga.
