‘My music is a reflection of my life’ – Fameye reveals his songwriting inspiration
Ghanaian musician Fameye, has revealed that the unfavourable circumstances he faced growing up inspired him to become a better singer and songwriter.
Speaking in an interview on TV Africa, the ‘Nobody’ hitmaker recounted the hardship he faced at a very young age.
“I went through hardship growing up; I never saw my mum and dad because they both died when I was a year old. I was raised by my grandmother who also passed not long ago,” he revealed
He added: “All these made me a deep writer and singer because my music is a reflection of my life, and considering where I’m coming from, it has not been easy,” he explained.
Fameye recently released ‘TGIF’ a song he described as a party tune and perfect for releasing stress.
