Naming my album ‘Sugar’ was my idea -KIDI

lynx entertainment signee kidi has disclosed  that the idea to name his album Sugar was his decision and his management supports it.

The VGMA best male vocalist winner who launched his album weeks ago stated that although the general norm is for management to make decisions on behalf of their artiste, his was different and his management supported his decision.

i first wanted to name the album ‘The Girl Them Sugar’ but i felt that name was too long. So i actually decided to shorten it to Sugar.”I

” i believe these things management always come together to decide these things for you.But i feel sometimes the art is the artiste. So some of these things you need to tell that this is how I want it”

if its bad they’ll tell you its bad lets do it like this.But if its good; i mean lets go with it”. kidi stated.

Speaking in an interview with Hitz FM’s Dr.Pounds, kidi explained the reason behind the name sugar. He explained that sugar is a household name especially because of its pleasant taste which is constant and obvious element in the songs on the entire album.
