All you need to know about Ato Abassah, the man who hosted 2017 RTP Awards

ato abassah[/caption] When you walk into an awards event and you see Nana Aba Anamoah in one corner, Afia Schwarzenegger in another, and then see General Mosquito, Asiedu Nketsiah and Sammy Awuku laughing at proceedings then you know you’re in the right place.   The 7^th Adonko RTP Awards took place, yet again, at the Accra International Conference Centre, and was as star-studded as the awards denote. People were held to party at the foyer for two hours prior to the main awards show with music and cocktail mixes by DJ Pho and Adonko Bitters.   It was the night of nights, as forty-six personalities and brands at the very top of their game were celebrated. From Stacy Amoateng and Country Man Songo to Giovani Caleb and Akwasi Aboagye. Not forgetting Jeshurun Okyere, Kwaku Obeng Agyei, Anita Erskine, Eddy Blay Jnr, Kwaku Sakyi Addo, Kafui Dey, as well as the honorary award recipients Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, Kennedy Agyapong, Kwaku Oteng and Osei Kwame Despite.   The guest presenters were as famous as the people they had come to celebrate, including the likes of H.E. Charles Josof and Obuobia Opoku Darko.   It was Atõ’s night, though, as his commanding presence, in his voice, influenced the entire tone of the evening in sharp and straightforward fashion that propelled the over forty-six awards to move rather timely. “Welcome to the 7^th Adonko RTP Awards,” he said as he stood firm but at ease on stage. “My name is Atõ Abassah and I’m your host tonight”.   In a brief discussion with the organisers, they mentioned that they really wanted the award recipients to enjoy collecting their awards but they wanted the speeches short and sweet so that everyone has time to talk and to constantly remind presenters, recipients and performers of this tone was none other we saw as best fit, Atõ. “His presence was as professional as we hired”, they laughed.   It has already been two great years for Atõ Abassah in the pop landscape with voice contracts for Club Beer (English) and Ecobank with a plethora of corporate and social events, his unique tone to events may just be something to look out for currently while producers cannot ignore his professionalism understanding to production and communications.]]>
