Stonebwoy has received a citation for excellence from New York state senate member,Jesse Hamilton.
Lawyer Jesse Hamilton, senator of the state’s 20th district, presented Stonebwoy with the honour for his incredible contributions to the development of Carribean music and arts in Brooklyn.
The multiple-award winning dancehall star revealed the news in a post on social media saying: “Citation From the Senator of the 20th District in NYC. Lawyer Jesse Hamilton for my role in the development of Caribbean music and arts over the years in Brooklyn Theatre. After My performance at the 50th New York Caribbean Festival..“
Meanwhile Stonebwoy will perform at the Gramercy Theatre in New York on Friday September 8.
