Nicki Minaj and Nana Fofie

American rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed plans to sign Holland-based Ghanaian artiste Nana Fofie to her label.

The rapper made this known in an Instagram post after reposting a video of the singer doing her version of the  Megatron challenge.

Nicki mentioned how impressed she has been with Nana Fofie’s talent since last year after listening to the singer’s cover of Runtown’s ‘Mad Over You’ song.

Nicki Minaj wrote after sharing the singer’s video: “GHANA STAND UP!!!! #megatronchallenge This is my baby @nanafofiee. I always talk about her on Queen Radio. You can thank me later. She’s not a rapper. She’s a singer/songwriter & I can’t wait for her to be apart or my label. Her song Odo is I played her “mad over you mashup” on my ig while I was on vacation in Turks. Me & Bae LOVEEEEE HER MUSIC. She opened for me in Europe as well.”

Known as the ‘Mash-Up Queen,’ Nana Fofie who couldn’t hide her excitement replied the rapper. she wrote: “I love you @nickiminaj and i would be HONORED to be a part of your LABEL ”
