Nokia Launches Care Centres in Accra

World’s leading manufacturer of mobile devices, Nokia has launched 2 new Care centres in Accra. The centres are located in Asylum Down Roundabout and the Circle Mobile market. Speaking at the launch event the Deputy Minister for Greater Accra Nii Djamah Vanderpuye commended Nokia for its track record of producing durable reliable and innovative phones. He said the opening of Care Centres in Accra underscores the value Nokia places on customer satisfaction. The Deputy Minister who was Special Guest of Honour at the occasion identified with the challenges of counterfeiting that have become prevalent in the mobile industry.  Mr. Vanderpuye said while government will strive to confront the problem with the relevant agencies, he was confident that Nokia’s approach of providing superlative after-sales service to owners of genuine Nokia phones will help win the war against counterfeiting. Mr. Vanderpuye called on Nokia to continue in its leadership role in the mobile industry. On his part the Head of Nokia Care for West Africa, Mr. Silvin Sinan said the decision to open more Care Centres in Accra was due to the need to bring after-sales service closer to the people through walk-in experience. He said Nokia was determined to provide first class repair services using genuine Nokia parts, technology and tools to fix genuine Nokia devices. The Nokia Customer Care boss said Nokia had a strategy of recruitment, training and equipping of Ghanaians to offer the world class Nokia Care Services in all its care centres.
