okIn the next few weeks, hiplife superstar Okyeame Kwame will hit the road on a nationwide tour in a zone near you. The tour, which is dubbed “Ok in your Zone!!!”, powered by MTN and organized by One Mic Entertainment, would see the energetic performer entertaining  fans across the countries. The tour will cover three venues initially, namely, Sunyani on November 19, Kumasi on November 27 and Takoradi on December 3 (also National farmers’ day). Gradually, the tour will move to the other regions.

The “Ok in your zone!!!” tour would be supported by other fellow artistes including Bradez, Morris D’voice, Samini, Kwaku Gyasi, Richie, Kwabena Kwabena, Obuor, Iwan, OJ Blaq, Tattoo, Andy (Mentor), Lady Prempeh, Mimi, Bertha, Rose(Mentor), Eazzy, Funky Africans, Laxio, Ko-jo and the palmwine music legend, Agya Koo Nimo .

The tour is strongly driven by the desire of the Okyeame Kwame Foundation to raise more funds for Hepatitis B free screenings, awareness creation and education. These screenings have been taking places for the past one year and the rapper hopes to carry it nationwide, especially to the deprived and underprivileged in the society. So far, the Okyeame Kwame Foundation successfully held such activities in several communities including, Ayigya, KNUST, Nkawkaw, Ayeduase, British council in Accra and Takoradi. Okyeame Kwame expects use funds raised from this tour to extend the screening and education on Hepatitis B to other places in the country.

Okyeame Kwame who recently graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a linguist believes that, health promotion is very necessary to entertainment in Ghana since his success as a musician would heavily depend on a healthy fan base.  The 2009 GMA artiste of the year urges all his admirers to massively support the “Ok in your Zone!!!” tour since it is aimed at creating wealth through health for the people of Ghana.

The Rap Doctor would also be releasing two hot new singles four his tour.
