Ghanaian Hip-Life singer and “Made in Ghana” advocate, Okyeame Kwame has announced that his annual free hepatitis B screening exercise to mark World Hepatitis B Day will take place in July in Accra.

This event which has become an annual exercise, is targeting over 1,000 people from all walks of life to be screened, counselled and entertained.

Okyeame Kwame and his OK Foundation, for nine years running, have run the free Hepatitis B screening and education to the general public.

This year’s event will also feature a concert with performances from the man OK himslef as well as other acts. There will be a lot of giveaways from sponsors as well.

The event, which is being organised by OK Foundation, in partnership with the MDS-Lancet Laboratories, is aimed at creating public awareness about the disease.
