jkRumour has it that, One 8, a new music supergroup comprising some of the biggest stars from across Africa is in the making. The group would put together hit songs, music videos, and an album for a music campaign in Africa. Already three of the continent’s hottest artists have been announced to be part of the group, namely Navio (Uganda), Alikiba (Tanzania) and JK (Zambia).

According to reports, Rockstar4000 and Sony Music are the recording companies behind campaign and although the official websites for these record labels remain silent on the campaign, they are expected to release an official statement soon.

Reliable sources have revealed that Uganda’s hip-hop kingpin Navio and Zambia’s R&B superstar JK have already joined forces with a major international superstar from Chicago’s south side to record a single, and a music video. The song and video is allegedly being produced by a major international producer and video Director and will drop this November.
