The 88th Annual Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 28, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.  ‘Spotlight’ picked the award  for Best Picture which was largely tipped to go to “The Revenant’. It also won the award for Best Original Screenplay  while “The Revenant” won Best Cinematography, and Best Actor for Leonardo DiCaprio as well as Best Direction for Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
