OV emerges Winner of MTN Hitmaker Season 7

Last night at the International Conference Centre, MTN Hitmaker Season 7 came to an end as singer, Okailey Verse, also known as OV, emerged the “new ruler of the mic”. OV beat three other contestants to win the crown as winner. She is the second female to win the MTN Hitmaker competition after Freda Rhymes who emerged winner last year.
OV was presented with a cash prize of GHS100,000 for winning the contest, while her beats producer, Magnom also won GHS10, 000.00.

Upcoming rapper Awal Mohammed emerged 1st runner-up, while fellow rappers Amakye and Erza Tamaa came in third and fourth-place respectively.
The night was crowned with musical performances from some past winners including Kidi, Kuami Eugene and Freda Rhymes.]]>
