lasisiAfter a very successful and comprehensive tour of the ‘Love of AA’, the first of the 24 episodes of ‘The Good Old Days’ from the stables of Kwaw Ansah in almost all the ten regions, the second episode “Papa Lasisi Good Bicycle” has began its tour after its grand premiere in April. The first regional screening in Sunyani received an overwhelming audience at the Centre for National Culture. Full of humour and excitement, this episode is set to thrill movie lovers in Tamale this weekend.

On July 1, the film will be screened at the Centre for National Culture and on the, 2nd and 3rd at the Picorna Hotel. Papa Lasisi is the Lagotian petty trader who is popularly known in the community as a shrewd businessman. Every penny in his world counts and would therefore not discount a penny. It is when the daring children of Joe E. Mensah attempt to outwit Papa Lasisi on hiring his bicycle that we realize the extent of Papa Lasisi’s shrewdness.

The movie revolves around the core Family of Mr Mensah with Psalm Adjetefio popularly known as “TT” playing the main role as Papa Lasisi. Film lovers in the other regions should get ready and be on the look out for Papa Lasisi Good Bicycle as the team and train is certain to soon be in a theatre near you.
