The very much talked about Night Train Parade Beach Jam held at the Labadi Beach last Saturday on the 29th of March saw a totally mind blowing rebranding experience of Forewin Ghana’s ‘Night Train’ Wine drink via a musical concert that featured Ghana’s finest acts on one stage attracting over 5,000 people to the venue that night.
New events house , LiveWire Events who delivered remarkably well on the said night, billed Ghana’s heavyweight acts like D-Black, Sarkodie, Joey B, Shatta Wale, Bisa Kdei, E.L, Stonebwouy and more to thrill fans that night for 10 Ghana cedis only which also gave you a free bottle of Night Train on entry.
These acts took turns and delivered exciting performances throughout the night with Lil Shaker , Gemini and Robby Adams who replaced E.L and Bisa Kdei who were out of the country, kicking off the concert at about 9pm after DJ Breezy and DJ Mic Smith had worked the crowd up into a frenzy.
The two hosts of the night , Eddy Blay and the soon to air ‘The EFGH Show’ host and new face on the scene ‘Peace Hyde’ then brought on the Ghana Bwouy ‘D-Black’ who thrilled fans to his hit records whilst giving away hundreds of Ghana Cedis in 20 Ghana Cedi notes and Night Train bottles to the over hyped fans. D-Black then brought on an injured Joey B who threw away his crutches before mounting the stage and delivered a super performance climaxing with his ‘Tonga’ hit song.
The pull up man Stonebouy followed and worked up the crowd just before Sarkodie who with no introduction stormed the stage and drove the crowd wild with hits songs including Iluminati, Down On One, Bounce and more. The dancehall king Shatta Wale delivered yet again another entertaining performance at about 1am joined by D-Black as they performed their ‘Inna Mi Party’ banger as well as his ‘Hot Cake’ collabo with Pope Skinny.
With security on point, a few hiccups with the sound , lighting and stage one hundred percent for a beach event, I think LiveWire Events as an events firm out up an incredible Night Train Beach Jam Concert and left fans and customers satisfied with an event that didn’t drag, with no violence reported.
Livewire Events co-ordinators Francis Clottey and Albert Nartey who double as D-Black’s managers announced their next event ‘The Celebrity Soccer Weekend’ for Saturday 24th March at the Lizzy Sports Complex with more information in the coming weeks and the next Night Train Parade to hit your city.
Kudos to LiveWire Events and Night Train supported by Yfm, Livefm, ETV, Black Avenue Clothing, Graphic Showbiz, www.ameyawdebrah.com, www.ghanamusic.com, www.omgghana.com, www.ghanagist.com for a wonderful beach concert experience.
