Hundreds of movie lovers thronged the Global Cinemas on Tuesday, 1st January 2019 to watch the premiere of the movie, Jacob.

Scores of ardent movie lovers and industry players were present at the premiere of the Jacob movie. The movie which was set to hold two showings; 6:30 PM and 9 PM was forced to hold a third showing due to the numbers that showed up.

According to Hogan Gabriel who is the producer of the movie, the premiere was a massive success. To him, this being his first ever movie was well appreciated and he’d endeavour to do more movies in future. Many a person who attended the premiere on Tuesday shared positive comments about the movie with a majority requesting a continuation of the hilarious story.

Meanwhile, there will be a future screening of the movie in various Cinemas Nationwide.

Jacob follows the story of a Second-Hand clothes seller who works tirelessly to survive on the streets of Ghana. Interestingly, his well-to-do friends and customers constantly buy from him on credit. Jacob explores all avenues to ensure his business doesn’t collapse. Meanwhile, he lives with his distant cousin who is lazy, sits at home and prefers to waste the little he makes on girls.

The movie directed by Salifu Zakari features Ghana’s leading actors such as Prince David Osei, John Peasah A.K.A Bra Charles of YOLO fame, Anthony Wood, Belinda Dzattah, Aaron Adasti, AKA Cyril also of YOLO Fame, Hogan Gabriel and a host of other celebrated actors.
