Photos: Juliet Ibrahim honoured for her kidney foundation

juliet 69Actress Juliet Ibrahim over the weekend received recognition for her work with her Juliet Ibrahim Foundation at the inaugural Humanitarian Award and Dinner Dance held at the Vienna City in Accra. Juliet’s charity work has gone beyond expectation and continues to educate the public on kidney related diseases, and raising funds to support persons living with such conditions. Juliet Ibrahim was grateful for receiving the honour and commented “It’s a privilege to be the first honoree and I’m marveled at the turnout because I never knew I had such fans. The buffet was superb and the plague is beautiful, I thank the organizers for the wonderful concept and to my colleagues and family, I love you all. God bless all who made it to the event,” Juliet appreciated. The Juliet Ibrahim Foundation for Kidney Cancer awareness video was voted the Best Video when she represented Ghana at the International Kidney Cancer Coalitions in Italy.  The Humanitarian and Dinner Dance is a yearly initiative designed to encourage the West African celebrities to give back to the society through any charitable means. A technical team tracks celebrities who are into charity and access the amount of influence they impart onto the society within a period of twelve months. The one with the highest impartation becomes the humanitarian person or honouree for the Dinner Dance Party with his or her family, friends and fans. The ceremony was attended by Juliet’s fellow actors, her family, music stars, fans and the media including James Gardner, Eddie Watson, Sonia Ibrahim, Tinny, FBS, Ruffy Samuels, Hammer, Confidence Haugen, Nadia Ibrahim, Kwadwo Sarfo II, among others. The Humanitarian and Dinner Dance is an initiative of Next Media Concept ‘NMC’ in collaboration with West Africa Regional Promoters Inc. (WARPS).
