Ghanaian singer, Sister Deborah has asked Ghanaians to let the past be in the past as she and her ex-boyfriend, Medikal move on to new relationships.

Sister Derby’s request comes following Medikal’s reaction to a comment by Sonnie Badu that he has a resemblance to Derby’s new boyfriend, David.

According to Medikal, it’s about time people moved on from his former relationship with Sister Derby.

“It’s been like how many years now ? Y’all no de fi move on ? smfh. Make my name rest small Abeg,” Medikal tweeted.

Reacting to Medikal’s comments during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Sister Derby agreed that indeed, it was time for their fans to move on from their relationship since both of them have new partners now.

“Please leave my sweet ex alone. He has moved on and is happily married. Let’s respect him and his marriage. I don’t think he likes it neither do I like it and I also don’t want David to feel uncomfortable,” Sister Derby said in the interview.

Also reacting to comments about David’s resemblance to Medikal, Sister Derby stated;

“I feel like if you see them in person, you won’t say they look alike, maybe it’s because they’re both tall with broad shoulders but they do not look alike.”
