Popular Nollywood producer Andy Best is dead

Nollywood has lost one of its prominent figures as Ikechukwu Nnadi, also known as Andy Best, has passed away after battling a prolonged illness.

The renowned producer and marketer, known for films like “Lion of Africa” and “White Poison,” breathed his last at a private clinic in Owerri, Imo State’s capital. Confirming his demise, Seun Oloketuyi, the organizer of the Best of Nollywood awards, announced Nnadi’s passing on Instagram.

Andy Best, CEO of Andy Best Production, leaves behind a legacy of impactful filmmaking, hailing from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State. His notable contributions to the Nigerian film industry will be remembered by colleagues and fans alike. His remains have been entrusted to the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri as the industry mourns the loss of a visionary filmmaker.
