Presec dispatches OWASS to book a place in the Semi-finals of The Sharks Quiz

Presbyterian Boys Secondary School(Presec), Legon remain unstoppable in their quest to defend their Sharks Quiz 2020 trophy.

The ‘Blue Magicians’, as they are affectionately called made light work of the challenge posed by former champions Opoku Ware School(OWASS) in their quarter final contest.

OWASS, it must be quickly emphasized, did not disgrace themselves, causing the Presecans some moments of discomfiture as they marginally took two(Rounds Two and Four)out of the Four Rounds at stake.

Presec, fast establishing themselves as dons of Round Three-STEM Round, however, had made sure the boys from Santasi had a mountain to climb, winning the Round with a huge 70 points to Opoku Ware’s 20 points.

Owing to this, OWASS taking the last Round did not cause the defending champions any serious damage, and duly wrapped up the contest.

St.Augustine’s College, Cape Coast, are the next opponents of Presec in another titillating Semi-finals clash.
