Rabito Clinic hosts Skincare event on bleaching with Professor Edmund Delle
Renowned provider of dermatological services RABITO CLINIC, in partnership with the Cosmetic Association of Ghana (CAG), successfully held its second Skincare 101 event for cosmetic dealers in Accra. The theme of the event – Skin Bleaching – was aimed at sensitizing and educating merchants on the best skincare practices for their clients.
Prof. Edmund Delle, Founder & Chief Medical Officer of Rabito, presented the keynote speech of the event by detailing the harmful effects of the practice and noted that in extreme cases, skin bleaching may lead to the development of skin cancer and type 2 diabetes. He also recommended safer alternatives to ensure best skincare practices.
Madam Karen Hendrickson, Chief Executive Officer of Rabito, engaged guests throughout the event and facilitated collaborative sessions with all stakeholders. She remarked that cutting-edge technologies such as laser therapy and dermaplaning are available at the Rabito Cosmetic Centre to address various skin concerns voiced by the cosmetic merchants’ clients. These cosmetic procedures are not known to cause topical or systemic harm to clients and they are administered by well-trained and fully-licensed professionals.
Prior to the conclusion of the event, more than 20 participants were awarded certificates to acknowledge their efforts in obtaining continuous education in the field.
Rabito Clinic remains committed to educating and empowering the public on best skincare practices.
