Rapper Sexxy Red shoots music video in hospital after giving birth
American rapper Sexxy Red shot a music video for her song “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad)” at the hospital after giving birth to her second child.
The 25-year-old rap star shared a snippet of her new video shot by Sauve Films in the hospital room with her 3.3 million Instagram followers on Tuesday (Feb. 6). The snippet was captioned with, “The Champ is hur,” accompanied by robot arm and boxing glove emojis.
The Hood Hottest Princess revealed she had given birth on Monday (Feb.5) with an Instagram post of her in a hospital bed awaiting to be discharged. In the caption, Red wrote, “Me waitin to get discharged from the hospital so I can hit da block wit da guys,” with dice and car emojis.
Singer Sexyy Red continued to actively pursue her music career even during her pregnancy. She toured with Drake, shot music videos, and collaborated on comedy sketches with influencers in the days leading up to her giving birth. In December, she released a deluxe version of her album “The Hood Hottest Princess,” which included 11 new tracks and featured artists such as Chief Keef, G Herbo, 42 Dugg, Sukihana, and Summer Walker.
