Republic Bank Ghana has launched four credit cards to cater for different walks of people and businesses in the country.

The unveiling of the four “fantastic” cards was held on Thursday, May 5 at the Accra Polo Club Restaurant.

At the launch, the four credit cards that were unveiled are the Infinite, Business, Adeshie and Classic Visa Credit Cards.

These cards are designed to enable card holders spend money and pay back later at an interest-free period of up to 45 days.

Speaking at the launch of the credit cards, Ms. Jessica Benson-Gyam, the Senior Manager for Electronics Channels and Payment Department (ECPD) of the bank stated that the purpose of the credit cards was to allow customers “live their lives now, spend today and pay later.”

The  “Business” credit card, a novel and the first on the Ghanaian market is geared towards helping businesses with recurrent expenditure and also help SMEs who want to make purchases abroad and  also for capital expenditure.

The “Adehye(Royalty) credit card is targeted towards income earners. Cardholders will be given as much as  GH C 100,000 on the card with competitive interest rates to spend and pay back later.

Cardholders will also enjoy some benefits including free lounging at airports, selected discounts, multi-trip insurance for customers who purchase tickets with their cards, access to luxurious hotels, and cash rewards on purchases made with the cards.
