Famed Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has advised colleague, Funke Akindele, to restore all the deleted politics-related content on her Instagram account.

Yul’s advice comes after the actress who doubles as a politician deleted all posts relating to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after the party’s miserable performance at the just-ended governorship election in the state.

In an Instagram post last week, the renowned actor stated that even though Funke Akindele lost the elections, her pictures and post are proof of her hard work which she should be proud. According to him, those pictures deserve to be on her page forever.

‘‘You did great. I noticed you deleted all your campaign pictures from your Instagram page. Of course, I can’t sit in my house and know your reason for doing so, neither is it my business. But as a concerned friend and colleague, I want to encourage you and others out there. A warrior is always proud of battle scars. The scars are proof that you went to battle and came back alive. You’re a warrior,” Yul Edochie emphasized.

Yul further encouraged Funke by saying, ‘’Don’t be discouraged by those who are laughing at you for not winning. Na childish brain dey worry dem. Cowards will always laugh at the brave ones. That’s the only way they console themselves for being cowards. When they grow up, they’ll laugh at themselves for not having the courage to try what you did.’’

The actor, in his post asserted that there are no failures in life as long as you never give up. He explained that It’s either you win, or you learn.

‘‘Funke, you will sit in your office someday as Deputy Governor or Governor or President and look at your first campaign pictures and you’ll have tears of joy in your eyes. You will be proud of your journey,’’ he concluded.
