Rocky Dawuni, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale featured on Morgan Heritage’s first ‘‘The Homeland’’ album

Three-time Grammy award- winning roots rock reggae group, Morgan Heritage which comprises of Peetah Morgan, Gramps Morgan and Mr. Mojo Morgan have announced the release of their new studio album titled, ‘‘The Homeland’’.

The star-studded 21- track album is the group’s first World music album and they combined the sounds of Africa with the sounds of Jamaica on this Afro-Fusion album that features legends and future legends.

Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall superstars, Rocky Dawuni, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been featured in the album alongside other great African acts.

The album is a project of rebirth for the Morgan brothers, built upon a lineage that has lasted decades and one that will continue to forge forward.

‘‘The Homeland’’ is set to drop on April 21, 2023 and in anticipation of its coming, Morgan Heritage has released a new single titled ‘Who Deh Like U’ featuring Bounty Killer, Cham and Stonebwoy.

 Multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer, Camidoh has just landed his first ever B.E.T awards nomination.

The Sugarcane hitmaker has been nominated in the Best New International Act category.

Camidoh is set to contest the award alongside
ASAKE (NIGERIA), FLO (UK), LIBIANCA (CAMEROON), MAUREEN (FRANCE), MC RYAN SP (BRAZIL), and PABI COOPER (SOUTH AFRICA), RAYE (UK), and WERENOI (FRANCE).

This year’s nominees reflect abundant creative expression and Black excellence across music, television, film, and sports.

“BET Awards” 2023 will air LIVE on BET on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT. Culture’s Biggest Night will celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop throughout the LIVE telecast on BET.
