Talented siblings, Renée Q. Boateng and Rodney Quarcoo have teamed up to open up a shopping facility that houses their individual brands, RenéeQ and RQV (Rodney Quarcoo Visuals) respectively. The brother and sister team dazzled friends and family with fresh photography, beauty, fashion and total grooming all under one roof, during their cupcake cocktail grand opening.
Rodney’s state of the art studio provides ample space for him to be at his creative best for clients, who want their photographs taken inside a studio. And as the test shots using guests at the launch revealed, clients are guaranteed to go home with a smile on their faces! Rodney’s passion for photography began with photographs of family and friends and has evolved from a hobby to a profession in which he continues to create a niche for himself especially in the areas of wedding, fashion and portraiture.
Renee’s shop presents more diversity especially for the womenfolk. The RenéeQ shop stocks her clothing line, make-up range, as well as a modern beauty salon for hair care, nail care and total grooming. The RenéeQ brand was born in 2006, out of the effort to offer women in Ghana a home-grown alternative to their current ideas of beauty & style.
Since its inception, RenéeQ has expanded her creativity in the fashion, style and beauty industries. Her many accomplishments include being the official makeup artist at the CNN African Journalists Awards, co-judging with one of South Africa’s finest designers, Sonwabile Ndamase at the Redd’s African Fashion Design Awards (RAFDA) competition held for the first time in Ghana. She is also featured on websites like Obaahemaa.com and AfrikanGoddess.com and has had many styling opportunities at numerous fashion shows both locally and internationally.
The RQV and RenéeQ shop can be located in La badi, close to the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre.
