Sadiq Abdulai steps down from role as CEO/MD of 3Media Networks

Sadiq Abdulai Abu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3Media Networks has stepped down from his role.

Sadiq’s announcement comes barely days after the launch of 3Music TV.

In a statement which has been shared via his Twitter account, Sadiq shared that Friday, September 30 is officially his last working day at the company.

“Today is officially my last working day as the CEO/MD of 3Media Networks (3Music TV) an organisation I founded in 2017 and had the rare privilege to lead for 5 years,” he wrote in his statement.

Through the vision and drive of Sadiq, 3Media Networks served Ghana with top notch content over the last few years since its establishment.

Sadiq, who is super proud of his achievements added in his statement that him and his team have been able to achieve the impossible.

“Between 2017 and now, we have achieved what many will call impossible. From the initial daily hourly television programming we started with and five successful executions of the annual 3Music Awards, I am super proud of what we have built – a multimedia brand known massively across the country and the continent,” he added.

Although Sadiq has not shared what’s next for him, he revealed in his statement his eagerness to serve in other sectors of the society.

3Music Newtworks was founded in 2017 and led by the able Sadiq Abdulai.

The media company in the space of 5-6 years, has taken over the Ghanaian entertainment space with their flagship 3Music Awards which has come to rub shoulders with the Ghana Music Awards.

The company also launched a television channel, and organized top notch concerts like the Wildaland festival in 2021.
