Salamatu asks for “More Time” in her newly released 20-track debut album.
Afro-Canadian singer, Salamatu has released her debut album, titled “More Time.”
This release comes after years of hard work; finding the right inspiration and melodies to share her story to her fans.
Drawing inspiration from her Ivorian and Ghanaian heritage, Salamatu infused her music with the rich tapestry of Afrobeats rhythms of coupe decale and HIGHLIFE with poignant storytelling. Her lyrics, a reflection of her own struggles and triumphs, resonated deeply with listeners, forging a profound connection that transcends borders.
Despite facing countless obstacles along the way, Salamatu refused to be defined by her past. With unwavering determination, she honed her craft, tirelessly pursuing her passion for music. With perseverance, she bore fruit with her album “MORE TIME” released April 24, 2024. Completing her first album garnering recognition within the African and Caribbean Canadian music scene.
It is Salamatu’s hope that her fans will not only relate to her music, but will also get up and dance whenever they hear her music play.
“More Time,” a 20-track album features some big-name artists from all over the world and is now out and available on all music streaming platforms.
